just to let you know i ordered one and it arrived and had to pay an extra £12 for postage at the post office so beware, but still worth it good bit of kit!

I was in tilemarket in belfast this morning getting some mats and they sell them, near had it bought til the guy said it was 35 quid! looks a good bit of kit though, he said they have had them for months and haven't sold one yet! Bought a stanley one out of B&Q for 11 quid and it has a clamping system

If you do it properly, you will have to pay VAT when it comes in to the UK and possibly import duty (approx 4%)

So are going to look into stocking these then Dave

I already looked - we would have to take 3 pallets :yikes: the profit margin offered was not good, so far we will not be stocking. Also, we were asked to pay for a sample before ordering the 3 pallets which i thought was poor

I thought the profit margin wouldn't be a lot especially as you would have to take 3 pallets and pay for a sample. Thanks for trying though

Just picked up one of these direct from the Quansol website NZ. Just over £30 free delivery to UK and no extra costs from import/post office. Couple of places in UK do stock but they were more expensive on product and wanted a minimum of £10 for delivery! Free delivery from NZ...£10 UK uuummmm:mad2:

That actually looks quite good, i like the fact that the angle measurer goes straigh onto the mitre box to save loads of adjusting.

LOL.... thats what this thread was originally about, TT tried to stock them but the profit wasnt there are the terms werent too good.

You can buy direct buy some people are being caught out on import tax.

there is a supplier in the uk that i got mine from, not sure if i should mention the name, so i wont but if you are in london or the surrounding, they are £30inc plus delivery!

Theres a place in Aberdeen that stocks them, cracking delivery aswell.

But, having used it a couple of times, can't say it's the Holy Grail.

I use a standard small mitre box for trims, put a piece of wood in the inside with about mil short either side of the sides, then push the trim which is held in the gap. If you see what I mean
