Great new use for a grout float.

The car windscreen was really icy this morning as I set off to grout a floor. Then I had an idea. I used my grout float to scrape the ice off. Did it really quick, and did not freeze my hands off in the process (like when you use the little plastic ice scrapers). Has anyone else got alternative uses for their tiling equipment?

I use my angle grinder to clean my trowels off if I have left them to go hard. I was cleaning away one day thinking that the handle of the trowel I was cleaning was really nice and new, pity it belonged to the plasterer,


He had a fit when a lot of lines from the burred edge wrecked his newly plastered wall. Apparently it was a marshall town that cost £40
