Hi All,
I joined several months ago when I started my tiling course at STC but never logged in to say "hello". Thanks to everyone who posts on here. Your comments have been an invaluable tool for me to learn more about tiling.
I did a mosaic module (Bisazza) as part of my course and I absolutely loved it. I would very much like to get more experience in this area. If anybody is working in NW London and needs a pair of helping hands, I am available 2-3 days per week. I don't expect to get paid - I just want to learn from a real pro and get some experience under my belt. In exchange for someone taking me under his/her wing, I can help with marketing. I have 10 years of sales experience for several major institutions and have good connections to potential clients in the Hampstead area. I know times are tough, which makes effective marketing that much more important. Proper promotion can have a huge positive impact on any business.
In addition to tiling, I am working toward becoming a fully qualified electrician. I have approximately one more year to go. I would be very happy to get some work experience in this area, too, if anybody out there needs a reliable, motivated electrician's mate.
Keep up the good work, Gents, and thanks again for all the helpful tips and info!
