Hey guys

im sure you will all agree our trade is one that you will never finish learning in (i certainly have a lot to learn :lol
so i thought it would be a good idea to share ideas or techniques in different areas of the job...

personally the main area that gives me TROUBLE is mosaic borders

il will either tile to border height then baton out again (leaving the border out) then after it sets stick the border in. so in have in effect i have a channel to make sure they sit flush to both edges

or il sometimes get to border height, stick the border on using a grout float to keep flush with the field tiles, while that is setting i can crack on with the floor so i dont loose any time....

kind of a novice question i know, but as there isnt really any set ways to do these things i thought there could be ways i havnt thought of that might be quicker or easier

It was a wet room for a disabled girl but can't remember now what it was going to be used for, not a socket though but a power source..
