what is your choice of grout floats i have a large silverline and a smaller marshal town one was told in the tile shop that the new rubi ones are the best .

I prefer the Raimondi grout floats with replaceable rubber.
the good old squeegee ,we used to make our own with a length of rubber and sandwich it between two bit's of wood screwed together , and they worked, we used to make big-ones to cover more area lolany grout float is preferable to these horrible things View attachment 40128

I use Hilti grout floats. Sure, they cost £900 each and are made in China, but 60 years ago when the company began, it was based in Lichenstein and produced quality products...:lol:
