Hi there

Sorry I havent been hanging around recently. Anyway my question is what is the best cheapest method of removing grout haze. I know someone mentioned furniture polish? Im finding grout haze is still there after I have wiped and dried the tiles.

Best Wishes

Some tiles are worse than others for hanging onto the grout.

Wash, wash and wash again is the only way really.

You can add a grout haze remover from the final wash............but I'm not totally convinced these actually do that much.

When the grout is still softish you will always keep pulling it from the joints as you wash.......change the water regularly and light wipes with the sponge for last wash so as not pull from the joints to much.........you tend to find it is the riven surface tiles that hold onto the grout haze ......it is advisable to wash again .....but only once the joints have firmed up........if it still persists then use a grout haze remover...........

Wot ever floats your boat....... ....................:8: wots the beer of choice t/nite.....?

I spent a fiver on a selection of scouring pads from Topps, usually whizz over with the orange one after I have finished grouting and the tiles look great. Worst case I have had to use the white pad - def worth a fiver!
