Hi All
I have a problem with the grout I did on a job a couple of months ago and just wondered if you guys could work out what is wrong.
It was a flooring job, using 400 x 400 polished porcelain tiles. The substrate was backer board underflooring heating and levelling compound. I used topp rapid set trade adhesive.
The grout I used was BAL superflex wide joint (colour ivory), the floor was then sealed with Fila Porcelain protector.
Levelling compound was left for 3 days to dry at a 6mm depth.
Adhesive was applied with a 12 notch trowel and left 24 hours before grout was applied
The protector was applied 24hrs after grouting.
The grout in the high flow areas have discoloured, the only thing I can think of is dirt has been trapped/ground into the grout.
Can anyone tell me if this is correct root cause or have I missed something?
If it is dirt etc can anyone recommend a high quality cleaner/restorer?
If its not .................help!
