hi - please can somebody offer some advice on what i should do???

One line of tiles under my shower mixer had cracked(probably due to a leak that developed as a result of a loose gland nut on the shower mixer tap and water running over it for a period of time undetected(until the grout failed).

Ive cleaned out the old grout with a remover tool and ordered a small 330g pack off Bartoline adhesive and grout. (comes in a small squeezabke tube).

I forefully squeezed the grout in to the gap between the tiles after allowing it to dry out for several days, it's only been in a few hours and when i just went to check there 's a crack(where it appears to have shrunk a little) and numerous air holes in the newly grouted surface.(which is only about 3 ft long on a single line of tiles)

I dont know what to do now, as i left the new grout line more receded than the existing grout. Do i add new grout over to attempt to fill the cracks/air holes or do I rip it all out and start again(poosibly teryinh anouther product)

Any advice is gratefully received

Thanks
