grouting any tips

had a kitchen splash back to do tiles were 100 mm x 100mm with a chamfered edge, all the way round when grouting it was just filling all round edges of tiles leaving 10mm of grout, was nightmare getting grout out and very time consuming any tips on how you guys cope with this would be great is there any easier way....

I have just grouted 1100 of those bleeders today...and it is a pain.....i grouted small sections and finger tooled the joints as i went.....slow work but looks better job............

not just me then, used finger to scrape as much out while grout was soft but was very warm this afternoon didnt take long to firm up messy job and lots of washing down to get a nice finish...
