grouting corners

Another way is to use grout mixed with liquid latex.
Don't mix up too much though as it dries pretty fast.
This can be used on joins that don't move too much - solid wall to solid wall.
Never use between tiles and bath/shower tray, etc.

I came across this method when fitting out a bathroom showroom with 23 displays. The
grout still looks like new after a few years.

Kendo - you're back matey, how you doing?

Hi John
Doing well, keeping busy. I've hardly stopped since March last year.
First holiday will be in July next year. Off to Italy, to a friends house, for a few weeks.

Just about to start work on a bespoke kitchen and bathroom up North. Doubt it will be finished by Christmas though.
Hopefully the kitchen will be: first units arrive on Monday, so we'll see. I've to fit the base units asap as the client is having granite work tops, which will have to be measured in situ - and then fitted a week later.
Looks like January for the shower/steam room.
I have a flat renovation in Edinburgh city centre to start at the end of January. Used to be an office, so new kitchen, bathroom, electrics, lighting and then a full decoration- just painting though.
Then another large kitchen in Edinburgh New Town- double upper flat in Great King Street. Another kitchen for the same clients in the Grange area of Edinburgh in the spring.
A bathroom to get fitted in February.

Keeping busy.... 🙂

Sounds good - I'm on with a wetroom at moment for a friend of mine, then it's on to a rental I'm doing. Bathrooms complete and then it's painting all bedrooms. Downstairs to fit new kitchen and decorate and then get someone in it!!

I've had to turn away quite a bit of work as they all want it doing before Xmas, typical. Got a few jobs booked in for early next year so should be busy up til Feb.

Good to hear.
So many people seem to be having a hard time. Not nice at this time of year.

Must say solid wall against solid wall in a non wet area I have, on a couple of occasions, just used my flexible grout of choice (Once in my own bathroom and once in my ex's) years later they are absolutely fine.

Workwise running up to xmas is totally mad for me atm. Turning work away every other day (sickens me 'cos I know Jan/feb will be slow but peeps want it all doing now) Never earned so much this last couple of months! Even took a labourer on for current and next job as I'm grabbing like a good'un and under tight deadlines. Had a £150 tip on my last job - he even did an oil and filter change on my van gratis while I was fitting his bathroom. Don't want to come across like I'm bragging (I'm usually on here moaning about not enough work) just want to spread the good vibes about tiling I'm feeling presently.
