Grouting Guns

Have any of you tried these Grouting Guns that are available? I am asking about the ones like a Silicon gun that you fill yourself. Are they any good or is the traditional way of applying and finishing grout better?

Traditional method is best I think.

Appears tilers don't like them much.

Used to use one that worked of compressed air for floor grouting very large floor areas in epoxy.
Never tried the small ones.

I bought one for a specific job, it worked ( just ) the grout leaks out from everywhere that it can, wouldn't recommend them

Thanks. I maybe keep my £27.00 and buy a curry and a beer instead, seems a better and more enjoyable investment.

Only time I've used one was on a stone job, to keep it off the stone as much as possible,was very tedious though.
Would be a complete waste of time and money on most jobs I recon

have one and mainly use it on stone can be tediouse and slow but effective

Hate mine, grout leaking and the tube kept blocking up
