I have to confess, and DH may be able to help here, I am still not getting they same consistancy each time I mix up a batch of grout and to some extent I am flying a little blind as to how thick/thin/creamy it should be. Obviously different manufacturers and types of grout require different thicknesses, so I am finding this a bit of a "black art".

I always use a drill to mix my grout, get i really creamy no lumps,.

I see that a few people use a drill to mix grout. do you use a small mixer for this? When I am grouting at the moment, I only mix up enough that I think I can use without it going of in my bucket. How much do you mix at a time and how quick can you apply it?

BAL have 2 buckets with measure lines on the side, the small bucket gives you the water level for a 3.5 bag of grout this is perfect for the proportion you require, the bigger bucket is for adhesives and screed compounds, the little bucket would suit you sir:wink_smile:
