I am grouting my travertine bathroom tiles. These are honed and filled.

I also have a number of small mosiacs and border (like dado rails) tiles that are tumbled travertine so have various holes that are not filled.

Is the usual practise to fill these holes when grouting? I quite like the holes being there on the border tiles and should be able to grout them easily enough without filling them. The mosiacs though would not be so easy though I don't think I mind these having their holes filled with grout.

Thanks,

Daz
