Help need guys if possible. Currently set to tile a bathroom, have stripped out old tiles, reboarded and now ready to start tiling. Bath previously had an under tile sealing piece fitted so prior to start I obtained some Genesis Seal Plus as a replacement. Unfortunately, the span of the bath sealing section is not big enough. The old piece that was discarded was a simple L section piece of PVC that had been glued in with what looks like vinyl floor adhesive.

I really need to find a bath seal that has at least a 30mm span from wall (behind tile) to bath top.

I need to get it tomorrow or I can't carry on, any ideas?:uhoh2:

What about either... another L of some-type from the upvc door section of B&Q. Maybe a strip of timber that you can fix to the wall under the tiles that the bath can but-up to if it's not too shaped... which you can tank and tile.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head mate. What's it doing so far away from the wall?

hi grumps mate.. you could try using quadrant tiles to bridge that gap . they come in loads of colours to suit your tiles....

Thanks for the help guys, I have been scouring the net looking for PVC Lsection but couldn't find anything, never thought of looking at uPVC doors and such. Will have a look tomorrow in B&Q and the like.

Good idea about the quadrant tiles Dave, I will look at that as well, see what I can find.

Those quandrant tiles are Johnsons Crystal I think.. available from Topps (or used to be a few years ago).

Yes dan mate they are johnsons /crystal....they dont always suit every job but they have pre-mitred corners and finished end pieces as well..they usually come in a kit form with a tube of Silicon as well.....

looks like my local B&Q have in stock white "PVC Corner" 2000x40x40mm......yipee, will check tomorrow and see if it will do the biz.

Good pointer Dan, cheers
