went to a job today that I priced, when I got there the builder was still building a wall and putting up architrave, sat back and had tea. ADD a day for messing about.

Have done a bathroom 25 m2 with 6x3 metro's looked ok when finished.

Just done two bathrooms with those kind of tiles mixed with 12 x 3. As others have said, just add more time and then quote

Fair enough mate. I have fitted plenty of ghastly looking jobs.....well tiled of course, but bad taste. They like it which is all that matters!

It grew on me in towards the end, (after I'd put the 3800th tile in) but I always like it when people make bold decisions and do something a bit different
