Hi guys ..I’m tiling s L shape hallway checkered tiles with border …bout 7sqm was wondering where’s best to start …do I lay border 1st or start from Center …haven’t done one before as I’m not long in game…any tips greatly appreciated thsngg thanks
I would start Center of both so you have even/uniform cuts meeting your border all around if possible, I would do inside first and take any discrepancies out of the border its less noticeable. I'll see if I can upload a picture

Cheers mate …I swear I think that’s the same way she wants it…think there out of tops tiles …was Gona stick the matting down as it’s a new build ..thanks for your reply greatly appreciated

I used 2mm spacers and black grout, these tiles required sealing before grouting because they were cement based (the black pigment in the grout would bleed into the white tile so just look out for that)
