Hardibacker for External site?

Hi all
I'm a newcomer on here,so hope I'm posting in the right place!
I need advice on wether Hardibacker concrete board will be ok as a sustrate for an external mosaic?
Will I need to seal the hardibacker?
Can I frame it or would you screw directly to the external wall?(how?)

Oh....I've started mosacing glass onto Hardibacker concrete board,using Ardex + admix,I was advised where I bought it that it should be OK outdoors, I did think of Exterior ply but after researching concluded that ply may warp.
Whats wbp ply? Mike?

wbp is water, boil proof, it will expand and contract if used outdoors so would need sealing all round to prevent this

im sure there are boards that can be used externally, just cant think of one now

someone may have the answer. we have mosaic experts as members

No mention of tiles used a finish, but may be worth giving them a ring if your stuck
