Went into a well known tile shop yesterday to buy hardibaackers 6mm for my job monday...I will be overlaying t&g chipboard with 6mm hardibacker, the member of staff told me that when overlaying t&g chipboard there is no need to use screws at 200 centres just a 2 part flexi adhesive?? I can't find any info on the hardibacker site to support his claims, but seems odd to me as boards may have voids underneath which over time could delaminate if not mechanically fixed also? :ciappa:
