has anyone been to a topps trade night

I was wondering if anyone has been to a topps trade night. I have been invited to 1 this Wednesday in Manchester but a bit sceptical as never heard of topps doing one of these before. I have been to several CTD events so hopefully it will be like those. Any one else going to this trade night ?

I would like to say a big thanks to Topps for a cracking trade night at Salford this evening. I had a great time, three goodie bags from Rubi, Topps and Fila. The turn out was brilliant, I met some good old friends, and made some new ones. Free booze, good food and plenty of it. The raffle prizes were top notch. The trade counter had a roaring success 33% off loads of top stuff.

My mate won a Rubi bridge saw, I won sod all, but I would like to thank Dave and Mark from the Oldham branch for laying on the coach that allowed me to have a couple of drinks, thanks to all staff at Oldham for the invite, and thanks to all Topps staff who worked so hard tonight. If you get the chance to attend a Topps trade night in your area, get there, you will enjoy it.

I heard it was a tenner to get in. Is that correct?

No mate free to get in, you got a complimentary raffle ticket with the invite, but you could buy extra tickets as you sign in. Proceeds go to Help for HEROES, a worthy cause imo. A good night was had by all.

I only had a couple Dave as I was working today, I could have got smashed if I was not, they had an endless supply of cans, some good grub too, potato pie, sandwiches, cakes, veggie stuff, (not for me) the veggie stuff.:yikes:

I might have gone had I known about it in advance. I dont seem to get much in post/e-mail from Topps these days.
