hatch in tiled floor

got a job coming up(i hope) its to tile a floor in kitchen, the client wants to have access under the floor boards to get to piping, wants to have the option of being able to get under the house if needed without having to rip up tiles. Has any one come across this before, Im not sure what to use for a rim, maybe the rim of an outsude manhole or simular, any ideas.

plumber out previously, just lifted floor boards up and nailed them back down, he has a vinyl mat down which is lifted easily, im still considering it as the rim would need to bemore like a t-shape so the hatch has some thing to rest on or i could keep the floor boards slightly longer than the edgingof the tiles, so that the hatch lid is resting on the floor boards, im also sure i would have to stregthen the joisting around the hatch. I was hoping there might have been a sort of indoor manhole hatch on the market, but so far havent found one

Sorry the pictures not bigger, but this is how I used to do Manhole Covers.

I'd use the schluter trim and fit it under both edges of tiles, leave a 5mm gap in between and fill with Silicon.
Hope that makes sense.
