Hi
I have a wood burning stove in my fireplace. It has generated a really good heat but unfortunately the surrounding plaster has blown. I want to
tile the recess with large Travertine tiles but I am unsure of which adhesive to use. It has been suggested thst I use a fire
cement. Can anyone advise.
Thanks
Terry
Helo Terry, buy bal rapid set white, patch the plaster with it and use for the tiling..it must be white to stop bleed through of colour to the face which you may get with grey adhesive. Also use flexible grout and seal the tiles before grouting....these are my recommendations for your job.....Gaz
