I just found this forum whilst searching for some advice. It looks like a great place to share information, so I hope it's okay to ask for a little help.
I'm a keen DIY-er but definitely no specialist, and I always prefer to leave the more tricky jobs to the professionals. But sometimes even the simple things catch me out, and I'm a little cautious about jumping in unless I'm sure I'm doing the right thing.
