I've just joined TF today as I've just discovered the art of mosaic. I have done quite a lot of tiling in various house refurbs, but nothing professional as yet, but have decided to change careers and do mosaic instead, so am looking for a tiling course to get some qualifications. I've just embarked on am diamter mosaic for my garden and loving it!! good luck with your outdoor mosaic

Yes I too am in Heathfield. Are you a tiler by profession ? I'm looking for a recognised course to undertake to enable me to set up a mosaic company, can you give me any advice ?

Yes i am a tiler..have a look at www.alpinetiling.co.uk they are based in Rye.

Thank you, have already emailed them this morning to see what courses they have available and timings, as I have two young children ! Fingers crossed! I needed a new direction in my life and think I've found it !!

We will be starting our mosaic this week, after lots of research and nail biting we have decided to go with the mesh method as recommeded by mosaic girl, fingers crossed! Good for you with the career change, mosaics are pretty addictive.
I am thinking of trying a pebble mosaic in my garden over the summer.
