wish i was 16 again, work is tight at the mo , but dont let that put you off , get qualified , try and hook up with a pro tiler as an apprentice , i would also consider doing a plumbing course as well , time is on your side , were are you from , phone some of the local tilers up see if they want any trainees

More good advice from Nybor. Would deffo suggest trying to hook up with local tile fixer, from my experience you get a much better response speaking in person, not sending cv/letters. DOn't be afraid to stop and ask if you see someone working. If I was able to take on a trainee (hope to later in the year) I would be looking at enthusiasm, reliability, loyalty and willingness to learn rather than experience and qualifications. All things that I can judge much better face to face than a letter.

Good luck mate, there is someone local that will give you a start. But you may need to ask a lot of people to find them.
