hi every one , i am a novice tiler, getting experiance before i go it alone for a full time job,

i have been asked to lay a kitchen and conservatry with limestone tiles,
i have told the client to get the floor as level as possalble and i was going to lay them with flexible white adesive then grout with limestone type grout but here is the twist..

the client wants them butted up together with no grout like in europe.
if any one knows how the propper way of doing this could they please shine some light on the situation for me.

they already have the tiles and they are antalya polished limestone all roughly the same depth:confused:

in Europe where temperature isn't a severe...they but the tiles up and they all come different thickness.....then they use a machine fitted with stones to hone it all flat then polish.Your tiles are already finished ...so use minimum 2mm joint ..flexi white adh..and gt1 adflex in your grout.........oh and don't forget to seal them twice before fitting if they are unpolished........Gaz

hi amcrozier, the only thing icould add to the already very decent tips, select a couple of tiles out of each box and check the sizeing...this is important for any tiling, however the smaller the joint the more importance....the other thing of note was that you wanted the client to level the floor...................YIKES SCAREY......levelling the floor yourself makes life easier later and you get to charge for it to.........good luck with the job ................chris
