Hello Folks,

Finally getting around to laying some wall tiles, and I'm looking for some help from the experts.
Ensuite 1165 wide. I have a window 550wX1050h which is offset, just under 250 from right side.
I'm using 365X250 laying portrait.
I have juggled around the layout, the best I can come up with is just under full width tile to right, and around 156 on the other side.

I tried centring from wall, and from window, but the cuts are skinny. will it look ok as i'm planning?

I'm going to tile the reveal and sill also, and use a chrome trim. Any tips for what stage to cut and lay the trim?

heres a pic, to the right is just under 250, walls and reveals are pretty plumb.
centred from window width or centred from wall width leaves thin cuts. Maybe a trained eye can see better

That pic you have put up has a grout line in the centre of the window, try putting the tile in the centre of the window (move everything over half a tile) and see what that does to the outside cuts.

You could also think about putting the tiles on landscape pattern instead..

I looked at landscape but I'm trying to stick with portrait on this room if possible. Shifted to centred around window, even cuts around reveal, near full tile to left wall.

The trim what best way to tackle this,any benefit to dry fix the trim before i start. other than tile and bed thickness in the reveals is there anything else I need to factor in?

That looks to be a better choice, be careful that the wall to the left doesn't run out and you end up with a gap emerging as you tile up the window wall. Coming out of a corner with a whole tile can be a risky business.

I wouldn't fit the trim 1st. Very unlikely it will be in exactly the right place, with tiles to fit nice and snug. There's lots of threads on here, do a quick search. But easiest way for me is to tile the face of the wall 1st, then trim to be applied when doing the inside reveal cuts. Do the wall 1st then come back!
