Hello all,

Joined the forum to hopefully read and pick up advice on tackling some home tiling.

Before I browse around many previously asked questions that might be what I need, I thought I'd say hello and ask a couple of questions in any case :)

I'm wanting to tile my kitchen floor - New (ish) build property, so level cement floor at moment under the vinyl. - looks sound

Tiles chosen (by the OH) are glazed porcelain 600mm2 * 9.5mm

1. Should I prime the floor first and what's the most recommended thing to use on such sub floors

2. Manual Tile cutter / wet saw - Recommendations for both options with this tile type

Thanks

Mick
