as stated I would recommend NICOBOND GYPFIX adhesive to lay the ditra, this is a gypsum based adhesive and avoids the possibility of any reaction with the gypsum based screed.

Follow my previous post and job will be right.

any tiler worth employing to do this job for you would know all this anyhow and if they don't then tell them to jog on.

Spanish seems to have pretty much nailed it. If there were joints in the screed i would say you might get away without the ditra if using gypsum addy but as it has cracked it is unsound and therefore needs something to help stabilise the tile face.
