Thanks for all replies. Feeling seems to be 'go for it'! Have done some reasonable wall tiling at home, so feel could handle it as a job, though understand there's a lot more to it, and to learn. BUT, has anyone else started tiling at such a late age? And, how easy is it to get work? Looks like the course to do would be North East Tiling - bit of a way to travel though.

areet lad.starting course at ne training 2moro iam 45 years young and never tiled b4 ;will let u no how it goes.

You will love it Kev take money for material and get them there, Say alreet to Darren from me. When i was there I was the baby (at 32) and the best looking.
