Thanks for the welcome Brian! I'm currently a mental health nurse in the N.H.S. and want (need) to leave as I feel I've 'served' my time at 41. I've tiled a couple of bathrooms and a kitchen (without the proper tools) for family in the past and seeing my work some years later still looks good but I definitely need the training. I want to take up tiling more for the love of it rather than what I can earn, there's some real artwork out there. I'll be happy to make half of what I'm earning now at least in the first couple of years anyway. I can always register with a nursing agency if I really really need to to see me through the lean periods.
