Another new starter, my name is Andrew, I have been tiling on and off for a few years, but thought it was about time I made a go of it.

Currently working as a shift manager, for a company producing plastic milk bottles, I'm setting up on my own, but still doing the full time job.

I attended a tiling course @ the Lancashire School of Plastering, I didn't learn much, I was actually picking up the teacher on a few points, and helping the other students. All I was taught were un ethical princples of charging people, and what we could get away with on tiling jobs and ripping off tile shops, to be honest a waste of money. Ok for people who have never tiled before.

Planning to get my head down and do some good work, and start to do a few specialised courses.

Looking around the forum, I'm sure I'll pick up some tips on here.

I was going to attend my course at the Lancashire school of plastering, but they messed me around no end and my course date was cancelled and never got around to do the course there after all.

I found them totally useless just on the phone, so I was glad in the end that I never went there.
