HELP!! Advice needed

Been to see a job tonite, the lady as asked me if i can tile her verandah over green mineral felt??
the felt is new and as been laid over a concrete roof and is structualy sound.
i would be grateful for all advice on this 1 as i have never come across this before.
If it can be done please state the addy and method to be used

take felt off and use a rapid flexi and flexi grout.

No its not a windup, have done a lot of work for the whole family both tiling and plastering,and like i stated Brian the felt is new, to get this up would be a nitemare.

you,ll have to replace the felt with something equally water proof then tile with external adhesive and grout
check our the ditra range

EASY Answer.......NO!!!!!!!!....

Not stable enough........tiles could delaminate due to thermal changes in the covering....not recomended..........

THANKS for all the advice guys, i will go and see the customer tomorow and tell her the felt will have to come up [ not by me :lol: ] and then i will be able to tile.

I've laid felt roofing and can tell you it'll be hard work getting that felt up,can you not drill something like backerboard to the concrete base and tape the joints?

I'm not sure if this will work ask the main man(thats you DAVE obviously )

What u talkin about bri,you forget when u first started,you tiled that old dears hut felt roof with Silicon as well?:lol:
