Help - Border Trouble

I Have A 150mm Border And It Is Sections That Are Ended In An "s" Style Like A Jigsaw To Be Joined To Each Other - Do I Leave A Spacer Gap For Grout Or Do I Butt Them Up!!!!!

Standard tiling logic would say leave a spacer gap and grout them up like normal, otherwise butted up wouldn't give any protection to water penetration.

if its a mosiac type border then butt lightly together . if its just a ceramic patterned one then yes give it a joint............dave..
