Help! Calacatta Marble Mosaic Sheet Tile Discoloration.

We used 12x12 mosaic sheets of calacatta marble tile on our shower floor. During installation and immediately after grouting the tile looked great. It wasnt until the next moring that random whole sheets of tile turned completely gray. It also happened to some of the sheets on the wall niche. Its been 3 weeks and we were hoping they would dry out but they havent. We ran fan, dehumidifier, and no change. Any ideas on what caused this and what can be done to fix it?

Yeah has to be different batches or maybe one stack of them got wet before being used perhaps? So just need longer to dry out maybe?

You got any boxes left anywhere to check batch numbers?

Your one saving grace is they're at least nearly random. Would have looked worse if one big square was a different colour I think. If you'd have known beforehand you could have perhaps worked it in so one wall was one batch and the other wall the other batch. But that's with hindsight which you haven't got.

Another thing you could have done beforehand is pull individual mosaics off one sheet and swap them on another so it was so random you wouldn't have even seen it. Which is also useless information for you now, sorry!
