Hi All

If someone can help i've been looking into getting a tile cutter, but if i'm going to put money into it i would like to know which one is the best for the job as an all rouder its basically the tile jig v's the tile saw any advice would be very welcome its for floor and wall tiles ie an [SIZE=+1]1027 SiriTop Tile Cutter can anyone help!:huh2: [/SIZE]

if its a dry cutter you cant go wrong with rubi... Wet cutter get a mastertiler from B&Q

Never heard of the maxitile, but for that money you can also consider Rubi cutters as well.

Siri make the Bricollina small cutter which is very good so I would imagine that the one you mention would be OK too!

i just noticed it missed out this bit, Maxitile 260 tile cutter has a rail mounted, sliding cutting head, which is a wet sliding head saw which you probably all know so my question is the wet saw v's dry drag and snap tool which is best already had numerous rpleys to this and thanks to you all but if you could spare another 5 mins much appreciated :stupid:

Buy a sigma,the best around.will last forever if you look after it.spares available too but they don't need much because the build quality is top notch.

hi welcome iv just started but the sigma is the one for me a good solid piece of kit with a thick strong bar that will not bend out of shape and it has a circular hole for chaping holes in your tiles with a pin hammer for going around pipes if you dont have power or drill

you should really have a wet cutter and a rail cutter m8.
