Dev, just a thought mate but if you aint done a kitchen fit before, whynot just charge a price that YOU would be happy to do it for....dont worry too much about what others charge as your more interested in getting the experience etc
If you thought the whole lot would take you a week you could simply think of a figure (after materials) that would put a smile on yer face.... it will most certainly be cheaper than £4500 but could still realm in the regions of 3k odd mate.

I took this attitude with a hotel floor that i did..... 6 of us quoted but all the others were charging slightly above the normal rate..but i just wanted to get the job for the experience and as a reference so i done it for slightly below the going rate.
The manager told me that all the other quotes were in the region of £4000-£4300 but my quote was £3400. Materials were £350 and i paid someone to help me do it £1300 and i kept the change £1750. done the job in 4 days, worked out lovely all round mate and the work i goty off the back of it is brilliant.
