Hi
When setting out a wall on
standard bond ie one on top of another, you measure the center of the wall and then work out you
tile widths to the corner. If you end up with a slither then you half bond the
tile over the center line resulting in a near as damn it full
tile at each end.
Unfortunately when using a brick bond pattern, as your working from the center line on one course and half bond across it on the next, you willl always have a smaller rip on every other course.
With regards wrapping the pattern around the corner, each job works on its own merits, depending as to how long each return is in relation to where the
tile finishes on the next corner - occasionally you can, 9 times out of 10 you work off each walls center line, with the larger
tile a
nd smaller
tile butting up to each other on respective corners ( still carries you desired effect), and then when you come to windows you set it to look the best as you hit the reveal......
Hope this makes sense to you:lol:
