Help ??? Marble edge polishing

customer dosent want trims or a matt edge once butted up. i have a grinder which isnt variable speed. i know this isnt ideal but will it work? will a velcro plate fit onto my gringer and what grit numbers do i need?

If you haven't got a slow speed polisher. You can use a palm sander to do the bulk, then finish with diamond pads.

hi, thanks for the reply. how long will polishing by hand take. i have around 30 edges to polish on 60X30 marble tiles. im on price work with it so if spending the extra monet on a polisher pays for itself then it will be woth it. thanks

Hire a variable speed polisher and get some Silicon carbide pads... 100grit , 200 grit , 400 grit , 800 grit , should do the trick depending on marble.

practise on off cuts..
