Nothing will hide this, you either rip it out & replace with something more suitable or you live with it.

The only way I can see this being a do-able job is to of removed the mesh and back buttered the tiles, then neither adhesive or mesh would be a issue

Mesh glue stuck to sides of tile between joints more visable on glass ones not frosted i had this and always companies blame tiler.... And his choice of glues....
