Help method statements and risk assesments

Hi guys could any of you help me out with sample method statements and risk assesments please. Its something i just cant seem to get my head round so would much appreciate some samples and advice to help me create my own.

if its for site work purposes turbo ,you have 2 options you either have to employ the services of a health and safety consultant with the recognised health and safety qualification or you can do the 5 day citb health and safety courses this qualifies you to write your own method statements and risk assesments you can use a generic one but every risk assesment for each job you do on site is specific to the site and the safety risks envolved to the job you are doing so a down loaded one wont be relevant to your site , the 5 day course is about £600 plus vat a health and safety consultant will cost about £500 a year plus vat
