Got my first estimate to do, went and measured up

5.2 m2 wall tiling nothing special or hard just ceramic

2.5 m2 floor same again ceramic nothing special
floor needs plyed

can someone give me a price they would charge for this including materials - grout adhesive and need a couple of white trims. Going to give an all in one price as I dont have a clue how much the materials will cost me. it would be nice if someone could let me know how much grout and adhesive I will need for this and how much it would cost roughly

wall tiles are 6 x 8

You will probably need a 10l tub of wall adhesive costing anything up from £6 depending on the product and if you have a trade card and a 20kg bag of flexible adhesive for the floor costing between £10-£20. A bag of grout for each costing around £10. As for pricing to fix it depends on the surface and the size of tile so like wivers said you have to decide on your day rate and judge how long the job will take and then estimate accordingly.

I'm not the fastest so would probably take me 2 days.
Decided to give them a estimate of £200 all in they didn't seem that impressed.
asked if they had others they said one guy had said £150 althought they admitted they didnt like him , the husband reckond he had escourted him to prison (works for Reliance) and another said just over £200 which I think they thought was really expensive. Sounds like they are not willing to pay to get it done and may do it themselfs

cheers for the replies if i do get it I will let you know

ohnofire,
Listen to ivegotstile - I've got a mate who wanted a shower/toilet fully tiled and didnt like the price and dont see the point of tanking. They also think that because i work in security full time that i should be doing for about a quid a metre including materials. I worked out the materials they would need and included that in the price, but they have decided to hold back for a bit to see if they can get the materials cheaper - Fine by me - i will be able to get some fishing in during the time i was going to do their room and when they do except my price, due to the rate of inflation its gone up £60, just for the sake of it. Tight wads
