Help needed with mosaic splashback

I would recommend using the trim, the reason is so you don't see the edge of the mosaic, and use light grey or white grout. Also if its a stone mosaic, put the preservative protective liquid on the mosaic first, before grouting...to protect the stone colour, this is very important otherwise you will discolour the mosaics natural colour.

It’s a little bit late for that, tiles are on wall with no trim and all grouted with limestone coloured grout. I think it looks more natural without trim tbh. My original choice was to use trim but someone mentioned here they’d recommend without, I’m glad I took there advice. I think it looks good. I’m only looking for bit of advice to clean the white stone mosaic because I never knew to use preservative protective liquid before hand
