Hi all,
i start a new job on tuesday tiling a kitchen floor and needed some advice.
It is a concrete floor tiles are 450x450.
First of all the floor has existing tiles down which are set out in a parquet flooring style (the tiles are not wooden) Can i tile on these if there are no chips or damage to them?
What would be the best adhesive and grout to use for this job?
The floor also lips up slightly near the base of the floor units near to the back door way. Would it be better for me to remove the tiles in that area and build up slighty with adhesive.( i will post some pictures of the area in question tomorrow)
I really do appreciate all the advice received from you so far. It is giving me the confidence to take on more jobs and try the untried ! I am definately out of my comfort zone with my new career but i love it!
many thanks in advance
