the tiles may be ceramic , I think they are the same as theseGary....looks also like patching through the biscuit from adhesive don't you think..?

there is no need to impregnate glazed tiles you may have sealed in moisture which may have bloomed under the impregnator giving you the white patches, hard to tell from your photos contact the tile supplier and ask one of their recommended fitters to come and have a look ,they may be able to help you with your problem good luckLithofin conditioning cleaner for regular cleaning then every 3 months follow up with Lithofin Protective impregnator which I quote "renders polished,matt and structured porcelain tiles stain resistant and greatly facilitates every day cleaning " .....so it says !! :mad2:
