Discuss HELP Porcelain Floor Tiles in the Best Floor Tiles area at TilersForums.com.

Hi folks im in need of some help! Just layed a procelain floor with wicks tiles there not polished, all was well but as the tiles have dryed there is now a white haze over the floor and im not sure whats caused it or how to get rid of it.
I used bal grout.

I did however use during my clean up before grouting fairy liquid and water in a spray bottle , is the white haze from the washing up liquid or grout haze that will come off with lots of mopping with clean water?? Or is it more serious??

I have attached a pic taken after id cleaned up u can see the tiles at the top beginning to dry and the white haze appearing.

Thanks everyone

hi,have you tried waiting till its dried then washing the floor with water and a sponge a few times?? try this a few times im sure it will dissapear im on the understanding its only polished porcelain that needs sealed prior to grouting m8,i layed a glazed porcelain floor last week and was advised to test a spare peice with a felt tip pen,,if the pen rubs off after 10 minutes it doesnt need sealed and most floors iv done need cleaned a few times to remove residue,,by the way nice floor:thumbsup:
