HELP! - Where to buy my tools????

Hi all,

Been trying to source a good price for a selection of tools the course I just finished gave the option of a 30% discount with TOOLBANK but as I live in the highlands (Right at the top!) couldnt offer it to me.

My biggest expense is likely to be a rubi 50+ I priced up an order including all trowels, nippers etc... for BUYBRANDTOOLS which came to about £350, although I phoned them a number of times to confirm they could deliver up here fairly quick - but just keep getting BT Answer? I left a message but had no response.

Really the crux of it is I need a reliable internet distributer that can deliver my tools by WED at a reasonable price, I use Screwfix already for things but still feel I'm paying too much although they are great with their customer service.

I am also having the same trouble with Adh and grout bags, Lithofin and Mitre shears for beading!!!

Living up here is great but always bites me in the *** when I need a big local distributer!:mad2:

Grumpy - your not a million miles from me mate, where do you get your adh etc....?

Any advice appriciated as my order needs to be placed this weekend really.....

BuyBrandTools would have been able to deliver, unfortunately England takes public holidays on Good Friday which is why you have had no response I expect.

I am in the same boat, I need to get some materials PDQ but I can't contact the company to confirm they can deliver on time. I will only be able to speak to them on Tuesday and I really need the stuff for Wednesday morning so I am a bit stuck really!

Ahhh... I forgot about England having Good Friday off, Dont know why they couldn't have a message saying that!

Yes mate, normally from Edinburgh Tile in Inverness or the Tile Centre.

I have never asked about delivery, I just normally go and collect it. edinburgh Tile is currently a bit cheaper than the Tile Centre presently as there prices are not due to rise until April, tile Centre's have gone up in Jan.

Rumour has it that CTD are coming to Inverness - St Gobain have bought over HSBS and have given Tile Centre 6 months to move out.........
