thats only because we have faith in tilers! ha ha. if you stick a straight edge over the walls, identify the low spots and then patch em out with rapid set. should be enough, bit early to be tiling on fresh plaster but needs must. being honest ive never had to do this myself, have read a few post from more experienced tilers on here who have recommended rapidset for just this issue. hope this helps.

the tiler will sort it
In that case the plasterer shouldn't have been paid. I'd call his *** up and tell him to come sort his crap out, too many cowboys get paid to do shoddy work these days. Have you got a local review site like our local www.nottinghamtradesmenreviews.co.uk if you have I'd let them review his work.

just dot and dab the wall with plaster board mate, quick and inexpensive and will save you a lot of faffing about!

Lets face it that cowboy plasterer wont be coming back, he is laughing his b******s off, it most probably took him the best part of a couple of hours by the sound of it

Completely agree, I do both, and a pro plasterer should be able give you a near perfect surface. Sounds like one of those Property- maintenance types that know just about enough, more than the customer, to blag them...

By the way, i'm listening to the west ham game and we're 1-0 up, should've had two pens, and very nearly was playing 10 men...
