hello folks just a quick one tonight.. ooh err missus
2nd proper tiling job a bathroom on the 19th of this month
the walls are a bit lumpy and bumpy but when the suite is taken out are being repaired by the plumber....???? will have a word with him??? only 3 walls being tiled. just over 8 mtrs. quoted 200 plus 50 for mats . it is some sort of rendering on the wall and is solid and not finishing plaster. the blown plaster is being taken off and repaired
what is the best plaster or equiv to use can it be tiled on within a few days and is bal white star ok ceramic tiles 300 by 200??? or would i have to use spf powdered? out of interest how much would you have charged
thanks in advance
ian :stupid:

for the walls that you are tiling do not plaster. mix some rapid set and skim over the old plaster and you can tile it in about 4 hours using standard wall adhesive

will have a look at replies in the morning.....
the corners around the windows are rounded
what is the best option for squaring these off
the other half is moaning about me coming to bed and i have to be up at 4.30 am so good night and thanks ian..........
