I always Silicon internal corners, the grout will crack and look crap - and leak. There are so many great Silicon colours available nowadays.
I recently did a brick bond cooker splashback like this, but the customer insisted no Silicon, so on the understanding I didn't get called back when it cracked (which it will), it was grouted.
