Hi all,
My clients cat has been sick on her marble tiles during the night and after cleaning, this has left a dull patch on the marble. How do I restore the shine?
On another job I have just layed some black granite floor tiles and noticed that on one of them the corner has not been polised up properly and stands out like a sore thumb (so annoyed i didn't notice at the time). it's only a tiny bit but being a perfectionist i'd like to make it look right. Any ideas apart from taking it up which will be hard as there is only a 1mm grout line.
In fact that's another problem on the same job. The grout (Mapei ultracolour plus from screwfix) says it can be used on timber floors but hasn't taken first time and has broken up in some places. Tiled onto 12mm ply with plenty of screws to floorboards. Going to rake it out in affected areas but any advice on what to do to avoid this problem? An additive maybe? It's only a small bathroom but i hate tiling on timber floors.
Looking forward to your expert advice..........
Thanks
